Pictou County District RCMP is investigating the theft of three plaques in the community.

On March 20, RCMP officers received a report that a large brass plaque had been stolen from a building on Haliburton Road overnight. On March 23, officers responded to a report of two bronze plaques being taken from a stone monument at the intersection of Churchville Loop and Churchville Road sometime last week.
The investigations are ongoing. Anyone with information about these thefts is asked to contact Pictou County District RCMP at 902-485-4333.
