Pictou County District RCMP Investigates the theft of three Plaques, including Two from a Local Monument

Pictou County District RCMP is investigating the theft of three plaques in the community.

On March 20, RCMP officers received a report that a large brass plaque had been stolen from a building on Haliburton Road overnight. On March 23, officers responded to a report of two bronze plaques being taken from a stone monument at the intersection of Churchville Loop and Churchville Road sometime last week.

The investigations are ongoing.
