New Glasgow Regional Police say a 76-year-old woman was taken to hospital after she was
struck by a vehicle in a marked crosswalk. Police say the incident occurred at 12:30 Wednesday afternoon as the pedestrian was cross MacLean Street at the intersection of MacLean and Provost Streets.
The woman, from Pictou County, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Police are continuing their investigation
