A revised candidates list has been released for the upcoming Band Council election in Pictou Landing First Nation.
Nominated candidates had until Sunday to withdraw from the race.
Four people are running for Chief: Hubert Nicholas, Tamara Young, Johnathan Beadle and Tonya Francis.
There’s also plenty of interest for the six Band Council seats. In all, 26 names are on the ballot, including several members of the current band council.
Community members in Pictou Landing First Nation will choose their chief and band council on November 28th.
