Provincial cabinet changes announced today means the province has a new energy minister. Pictou West MLA Marco MacLeod is the new M i nister of Energy, taking over from Premier Tim Houston.

In a statement, Houston said Nova Scotia is becoming an energy superpower, and that MacLeod played a big role is assisting him in seeking out opportunities to grow domestic energy production. Houston stated he also look s forward to working with Ma cLeod in getting Wind West across the finish line.
