There’s been a drug bust in New Glasgow. Last Thursday evening, the Pictou County Integrated 
Street Crime Enforcement Unit, with assistance from New Glasgow Regional Police and it’s K-9 Unit searched a home on MacLean Street.
Police seized a quantity of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, cocaine and a weapon.
Police have charged a 52-year-old New Glasgow woman and a 30-year-old man from Truro with Possessing Methamphetamine and Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose. Both have been released from custody on strict conditions and will appear in court at a later date.
