RCMP say an Antigonish man faces drug trafficking charges after police searched a home in Afton Station.
On April 2nd, the Antigonish-Guysborough Street Crime Enforcement Unit, searched a residence on West Arm Branch Road and seized methamphetamine, fentanyl, prescription drugs, and drug araphernalia. Police also found firearms and ammunition, a baton and brass knuckles on the property. Also recovered was a 2019 Keystone camper that was reported stolen.
34-year-old Jed Douglas Decoste has been charged with three counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking. He was remanded un custody and is scheduled to appear in Antigonish Provincial Court May 14th. More charges are expected.
Also involved in the investigation were the Pictou County and Port Hawkesbury Street Crime Enforcement Units and the Antigonish RCMP.
