Central Nova MP Sean Fraser says the meeting is an important one, calling health care a top priority for residents. He said such a meeting has been a long time coming, noting emergency rooms have been understaffed and people have not had adequate access to primary care for many years.
Fraser said the federal government can’t keep pouring money into a broken system without ensuring that change is being affected. He said he is looking forward to working with provincial counterparts to ensure Nova Scotians experience a higher quality of care.
