Last night a public hearing was held in the Town of Mulgrave on a proposed amendment to the Land Use By-law. The amendment would alter the zoning designation on land located on Loggie St., near the museum and McNairs Cove, from industrial to residential.
Two written submissions against the proposed change were read out to council. Council agreed that the arguments put forth against the rezoning had many valid points and decided to table the proposed amendment for a year.
