A proposed development in Stellarton has been put on hold.
PQ Properties had requested a development agreement to build a four-unit double duplex between Bunker Hill and Rutherford Street. Council had already delayed voting on the development before, as councillors had questions about the plan to ask the town’s planning director, who has been unable to attend meetings due to illness.
Last night’s meeting was the last opportunity to vote on the agreement before the approval deadline would pass. Council decided not to make a motion to vote on the agreement. If they wish, PQ Properties could appeal council’s decision to the Utility and Review Board.
