There are four new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.  Provincial Health and Wellness Department officials say all new cases are in Central Zone.  Three are under investigation.  One

case is related to travel.  The number of active cases of the virus is falling.  There are now 88 active cases, down from 95 on Saturday.

Premier Stephen McNeil says he’s pleased to see the decline in new cases this weekend.  He says it reflects on Nova Scotians’ commitment to following public health measures and doing their part to help slow the spread of COVID-19.

Nova Scotia Health Authority’s labs completed 1,171 Nova Scotia tests on Saturday.

On Saturday, there were 394 tests administered at the rapid-testing pop-up site in Halifax.  There were no positive test results identified at the site.
