There are four new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia. Provincial Health and Wellness Department officials say one case is in Eastern Zone, a student of Cape Breton University in
Sydney. The student lives on-campus and is self-isolating as required.
The other three cases are in Central Zone. One case is a close contact of a previously reported case. The other two are both related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada, including a student at Dalhousie University in Halifax. That student lives off-campus.
The number of active cases in the province is dropping. There are 30 active cases, down from 32 on Friday.
Nova Scotia Health Authority’s labs completed 2,293 tests on Friday.
