Province Announces Six New Cases of COVID-19

The Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness announced six new cases of COVID-19, bringing the provincial total of active cases to 71.

All new cases are in Central Zone. Four of the cases are close contacts of previously reported cases. One is related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada. The individual has been self-isolating as required. The other case is under investigation.

Since October 1, Nova Scotia saw 300 positive COVID-19 cases and no deaths. No one is currently in hospital. Two hundred and twenty-nine cases are now resolved.
