Province identifies 15 New Cases of COVID-19

There are 15 new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.  Provincial Health and Wellness Department officials say 11 of the cases are in Central Zone, including one connected to Citadel High School In Halifax that was reported Thursday afternoon.  Three cases are in the Northern Zone and are close contacts of previously reported cases.  The other cases is in Western Zone and related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada.

There is also a new case Identified today, at Park West High School, a primary to Grade 9 school in Central Zone.  That person is not in school and is self-isolating.  The school will remain closed until next Thursday.  A deep cleaning will take place and students will learn from home while the school is closed.  As a precautionary measure, the offsite Park West pre-primary will also be closed until next Thursday s well.
