The provincial government is giving a one-time grant of 750 dollars to 13-thousand post-

secondary students in Nova Scotia.
The COVID-19 Response Grant is provided to all recipients of Nova Scotia Students Assistance in the 2020-21 academic year. Students do not have to apply.
The grant is to help students with some additional costs that may have been incurred during the pandemic including moving to new learning platforms. It’s also meant to address challenges in finding summer and part-time jobs.
Most of the funding will be distributed to eligible students in January; while some disbursements will be in the spring and summer.
