Province reports 5,436 New PCR Confirmed COVID-19 Cases in the Past Week and 24 Deaths

The Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness released it’s weekly COVID summary,

 For the seven day period ending April 25, there were 5,436 new PCR confirmed cases, 91 new hospitalizations due to COVID-19, and 24 COVID-19 related deaths.

The release states the data shows a marked decrease in new cases compared to the previous seven-day period while hospital admissions increased.
