There are 6 new cases of COVID-19 in the province. Four of the cases are in Central Zone, two
are in Eastern Zone. The new infections in the Eastern Zone are the first in six weeks. All new cases are under investigation. Provincial Health and Wellness Department officials say the number of active cases of the virus are down. There are now 95 active cases; compared to 117 on Friday.
Nova Scotia Health Authority’s labs completed 1,410 tests on Friday.
There were 276 rapid tests conducted on Friday in Halifax. There were no positive test results identified at the site.
Since October first, the province has completed 74,664 tests. There have been 275 positive COVID-19 cases and no deaths. No one is in hospital.
