Province reports 40 New Cases of COVID-19

There are 40 new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.   The province has also recorded 29 recoveries.

Health and Wellness Department officials say 20 of the new infections are in Northern Zone, 18 in Central Zone and two in Western Zone.

There are 214 active cases of the virus; 13 people are in hospital including five in ICU.

On Wednesday, Nova Scotia Health Authority’s labs completed 3,330 tests.
