Inverness County District RCMP is seeking information from the public about an ongoing property crime investigation.
On June 12 at approximately 2:30 a.m., officers responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a business on Paint Street, Port Hawkesbury. Investigators learned that someone accessed the building and took a set of keys for a blue Jeep Wrangler. Surveillance video shows the vehicle driving away shortly after.
The Nova Scotia licence plate associated with this vehicle is HPY 723. However, it is possible that the plate has since been replaced.

Video from inside the building shows a person wearing a hoodie with a distinctive logo.
Anyone with information about the person or the whereabouts of the vehicle is asked to contact Inverness County District RCMP at 902-490-5020. To remain anonymous, call Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers, toll-free, at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) , submit a secure web tip at crimestoppers.ns.ca or use the P3 Tips app.
