Pictou District RCMP are investigating a home invasion in Priestville Friday night. Police say
shortly before 10 p-m, officers were called to a home where a woman told them she had been hit in the head. When police arrived, officers learned three to four men wearing masks entered the home and struck the two occupants in the head with a baseball bat. Police say the suspects stole cash and marijuana, then left the area in a small dark sedan, similar to a Honda Civic. It fled in the direction of Sherbrooke Road, towards Highway 104.
The two victims were taken to hospital by EHS. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
