Pictou County RCMP are investigating a report of a stabbing at a residence in Pictou Landing 
last night.
At about 9:50 p.m. last night, Pictou RCMP responded to a call of a stabbing following an altercation at a residence on Pictou Landing First Nation. The suspect fled by the time police arrived led the scene but was located a short time later by officers at a nearby store. The police arrested the 20-year-old male suspect without incident and he remains in custody.
EHS transported a 24-year-old man from Pictou Landing First Nation, was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Police believe this is not a random act as both parties are known to each other. Police continue to investigate the incident.
