With police investigating a pair of homicides in Antigonish County, Warden Nicholas MacInnis offered his thoughts on the situation.
RCMP are currently investigating a homicide in West Arm Tracadie that occurred on May 21, as well as a homicide in Upper Big Tracadie on May 31.
On behalf of council, MacInnis extended condolences to the families, friends, and neighbours affected by the recent deaths. He said the incidents impacted many people in the region, adding council’s thoughts are with those grieving and facing difficult circumstances.
