Two long serving members of New Glasgow emergency services were honoured Monday night.

Mayor Nancy Dicks presented gifts to retired Fire Chief Doug Dort and retired Regional Police
Chief Eric MacNeil. The two leaders have a combined 93 years of service with the town.
While Dort retired in 2019 and MacNeil in 2020,
the ceremony was postponed until now because of COVID-19 pandemic restrictions..
