Richmond County District RCMP is investigating a car-pedestrian collision last weekend. The pedestrian was seriously injured.
Police say the incident occurred on Saturday at around 5:10 pm in St. Peters. Investigators learned a Toyota Camry was travelling westbound on Grenville Street and struck a pedestrian walking on the road. The pedestrian, a 72-year-old woman from St. Peters was transported to hospital. The driver and lone occupant of the car, a 71-year-old man from L’Ardoise did not report any injuries.
An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist was called to the scene of the collision. Grenville Street was closed for several hours.
