Richmond MLA Trevor Boudreau said it’s been a busy year.
First elected in 2021 and re-elected in 2024, Boudreau serves as the ministerial assistant to the minister of growth and development and is a member of the human resources committee. When asked about 2025, he called it a bit of a blur.

Boudreau said there is a lot of activity on the go in Richmond County, including the start of construction on new St. Anne’s Centre in Arichat.
He also noted a number of community groups received funding to make sure their facilities are up to par. Boudreau added it is always a pleasure and privilege to support the residents of the riding.
As for what’s upcoming for the area, Boudreau said there is significant opportunity on the area with respect to green hydrogen and energy. He also said a new dialysis unit is on the way for the area, while he will continue to advocate for better cell coverage.
