Another local event has been cancelled because of COVID-19. The Town of Antigonish has 
announced on its web site and social media channels it has decided to cancel its annual Santa Claus Parade and Tree Lighting event. Town officials say the determination was made after careful consideration and following advice around gathering limits from public health.

Town officials say the determination was made after careful consideration and following advice around gathering limits from public health.The town, Municipality of Antigonish County and other organizers are working on a revised list of events for the Christmas season, including a Drive-in Movie, Santa’s Neighbourhood Christmas Tour, a Story-Book Walk and a Santa Shuffle Fun Run.
