During Wednesday evening’s Strait Regional School Board meeting, discussion around the implementation of new policies was brought up. A Committee to improve classroom conditions made recommendations to the provinces school boards on how to better improve the quality of education that students receive.

For day-to-day operations in the SRSB, funding has been received to hire 4 junior and senior high teachers. These teachers will be used to support math and literacy in classrooms that have high numbers of students with special needs.
