There are seven new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia. Two cases are in Eastern Zone and one 
is in Northern Zone. All are related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada. They are all self-isolating.
Three cases are in Western Zone. Two are close contacts of previously reported cases. One is an employee of Eden Valley Poultry. This was included in Friday’s announcement of the poultry plant’s closure related to the outbreak. A total of six employees have tested positive. All employees have been tested and are self-isolating until they can be re-tested next week.
One case is in Central Zone and is a close contact of a previously reported case.
The number of active cases of the virus are dropping. There are now 61 active cases in Nova Scotia, down from 65 on Friday.
Nova Scotia Health Authority’s labs conducted 1,606 tests on Friday.
