Seven New Cases of COVID-19

There are seven new cases of COVID-19 in the province.  Nova Scotia Health and Wellness department officials say one case is in Eastern Zone, related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada.

Three are in Central Zone.  Two of the infections are related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada, the other is a close contact of a previously reported case.  The remaining three cases are in Western Zone, all close contacts of previously reported cases. 

 There are 34 active cases of the virus, one person is in hospital.

 Nova Scotia Health Authority’s labs completed 1,579 Nova Scotia tests on Saturday.
