There’s lots of interest in the upcoming Band Election at Pictou Landing First Nation.
Tuesday was the deadline for nominations for Chief and Band Council.
There’s seven people nominated for chief, and 30 for the six band council seats.
A revised list of candidates is expected to be released in the coming days.
Community members will choose their chief and band council on November 28th.
