Water users in the town of Pictou will notice a change in both their tax bills & water bills going forward.
Sewer charges have changed from a flat fee that appeared on tax bills, to a usage charge that will be shown in the water bill.
Mayor Jim Ryan noted that most people will notice a credit applied toward their next water bill, as the difference between the flat sewer charge from earlier in the year and the new charge based on use will have been calculated.
