Six New Cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia Sunday and Monday

Provincial Health and Wellness Department officials are reporting six new cases of COVID-19 Sunday and Monday.  There were two cases on Sunday.  One is in Western Zone and related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada.  The other is in Eastern Zone and is under investigation.

On Monday, four cases were in Central Zone.  One case is related to travel outside Atlantic Canada.  One case is a close contact of a previously reported case.  The other two are under investigation.

Nova Scotia Health Authority’s labs completed 969 Nova Scotia tests on Saturday and 1,077 Sunday.  There are 27 active cases of the virus.  One person is in hospital.
