Six new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia

Provincial Health and Wellness Department officials say there are six new cases of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.   Three infections are in Central Zone, all are close contacts of previously reported cases.

Two cases are in Eastern Zone.  One is a close contact of a previously reported case.  The other is related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada.

There is one case in Western Zone and is related to travel outside of the Atlantic region.

The number of active cases of the virus is now 59, down from 61 on Saturday.

Nova Scotia Health Authority’s labs completed 1,427 Nova Scotia tests on Saturday.
