The Cape Breton Capers placed 4 th in Tier 1 at the U 14 National volleyball championships held in Halifax on the weekend.The Capers are composed of 3 players from Inverness,3 players from Port Hawkesbury and 4 players from Sydney.The Capers were defeated by Ontario in the semi and Quebec in the bronze medal match.
23 Novice swimmers from the Port Hawkesbury Antigonish Swim Team took to the water in Truro this weekend for the Nova Tech Explosion! The meet hosted 13 Nova Scotia teams. There were many personal best times and lots of fun too! Harrison Corkum earned his Bronze level medal, Will Grover took home his Silver Medal, and Katherine Langley graduated to Age Group with her GOLD Medal.
