nominated artists for the prestigious Sobey Art Award. It is one of the most important prizes for contemporary artists living in Canada. The annual competition, organized by the National Gallery of Canada, awards $100,000 to the overall winner; $25,000 to each of the four shortlisted finalists and $10,000 to all longlisted finalists.
Syliboy, an award-winning author and interdisciplinary artist, is a tenure-track member of the St. FX faculty in the departments of Education, Modern Language and Fine Arts.
