mourn the deaths of 215 children at a former residential school in Kamloops, BC. University officials say the bed will have the number ‘215’ and the Mi’kmaq hieroglyph for children in orange flowers.
Those who assisted in designing the bed include Indigenous Student Advisor Terena Francis, the University’s Elder on Campus Kerry Prosper and faculty member Michelle Sylliboy.
