St. FX President Andy Hakin says the beginning of his first semester at the university has turned

out to be quite different than what he initially envisioned. In a year-end interview, Hakin says the COVID-19 pandemic changed all that.
Hakin says that focus on the community allowed the university to build some strong relationships with the town and county.
Hakin also had high praise for the resiliency of the students, despite all the restrictions imposed at the university to keep them and faculty and staff safe during the pandemic.
Hakin also thanked for the community for embracing the students, helping and supporting them this semester.
