St. FX University President Dr. Andy Hakin says it has been a busy semester for the post-secondary institution.
The term is winding down as students began writing exams this week. Hakin says they welcomed one of the largest first year classes ever; adding the new students are settling in well to the routine. Hakin says there has also been a lot of work on the development of new courses.

Hakin has also been active in the post-secondary sector on a much larger stage as an advocate for universities in this region.
Hakin says he’s also been travelling a lot in this term on behalf of the university, connecting with alumni and recruiting.
