STFX Homecoming 2023 celebrations are set for this weekend.
Events on tap include a Golden Grad Mass and Lunch, a campus walking tour, golden grad dinner, and Taps and Taste featuring the East Enders taking place today. Saturday will feature a homecoming fun run, alumni awards, the ceremonial kickoff and X-Men football game, and a welcome home dinner and dance featuring Signal Hill. On Sunday, there will be a farewell breakfast and alumni mass.

Shanna Hopkins, director of Alumni Affairs with STFX, said over 400 people are already registered for the event.
Hall of Honour inductees include John Gillies from the class of ’69 and ’73, Marie Salamoun-Dunne, from the classes of ’71 and ‘75, and Craig Smith, from the class of ’83.
Alumni Awards of Excellence will also be handed out. 989 XFM will receive the Friend of STFX award while the Xaverian Spirit Award will go to Patty Boyle.
The Young Alumna award recipient is Dr. Jack Rasmussen, while the Distinguished Alumnus is Graydon Nicholas, and the Distinguished Alumna is Dr. Pamela Farrell. The Pride of StFX Student award is going to Henderson Cartwright while the Pride of StFX Alumni award will be presented to Dr. Jacinta Sullivan.
