At last night’s monthly meeting, Stellarton recognized several of its firefighters for their years of service. 5 years service citations were given to Robbie Brown and Austin Hayden. Brett Ervin and Dave Prendiville were honoured for 10 years. Trevor Kearley reached 20 years, Lee Caldwell 25 years, and David Field 30 years. Charles MacLaren reached the 50 year milestone, which included notices from MLAs Pat Dunn and Tim Houston, as well as Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
