The Town of Stellarton announced the postponement of Homecoming until next year.
A statement from the town notes they hoped to hold Homecoming in 2021, but given the unpredictability of the pandemic, they decided to postpone until next year.
The town weighed all of the possible options to safely hold an adapted version of Homecoming. However, with the increase in COVID-19 cases and restrictions in the province, as well as uncertainty of when these restrictions will ease, the town felt the only option was to postpone again for this year.
