RCMP confirmed that on January 26, at approximately 11:30 a.m., Pictou County District RCMP arrested 34-year-old Daniel Robert Martell of Lansdowne.
Martell faces charges of assault, sexual assault, and forcible confinement. The charges involve an adult victim.
Martell is due in Pictou Provincial Court on March 2.
Martell is the stepfather of two children reported missing n Pictou County more than eight months ago. On May 2nd, Martell’s common-law partner called 9-1-1 to notify police that two of her children Five-year-old Jack Sullivan and his six-year-old sister Lily Sullivan wandered away from their home in Landsdowne Station
