Environment Canada is monitoring a potentially messy mix that could be headed our way later this week. The national weather forecaster says snow, ice pellets and rain with a risk of freezing rain will likely affect the province beginning either Wednesday afternoon or Wednesday night.

Environment Canada says there’s a lot of uncertainty as to how much precipitation will fall as snow, ice pellets, rain or freezing rain. Strong northeasterly winds will accompany this storm. Precipitation should end Thursday night or early Friday morning.
