There is an update on the issues that caused the Canso Causeway to shut down Wednesday afternoon.
Department of Public Works spokesperson Gary Andrea said mechanical issues with the swing bridge delayed traffic at the Canso Causeway for about 90 minutes Wednesday as crews replaced some bolts in the mechanical system.

Further testing was set to continue Thursday on the bridge.
