Plans going smoothly for a new festival this summer in Antigonish County

The new country music festival coming to Antigonish is working well with County Council to ensure all bases are accounted for. County Warden Russell Boucher said after last evenings council meeting that the organizers of the Black River Music Festival have been doing a good job to meet all the requirements needed to receive a conditional permit.
Boucher says the group will soon be granted their regular permit, once final details around the venue are finalized. Boucher is excited to see this new event taking place in the county, and is making sure no detail is overlooked:
Boucher says he expects to have a regular permit issued to the group by sometime in April.
