One of Cape Breton’s newer Celtic bands has released a new album, and are looking forward to a busy summer of touring. Coigo, which is Gaelic for five, released their second studio album, Rove, last week.
Fiddle player and singer, Rachel Davis says the recording process for the album was quite enjoyable. Collaborating with her fellow band mates is always a pleasing experience:
Coig has a big summer planned with festivals and concerts, including a CD release party in Judique. The album was recorded in Pictou County native Dave Gunning’s studio.
