Inverness County historian, author and newspaper columnist Jim St. Clair is being honoured by the Heritage Trust of Nova Scotia.   At a recent event in Halifax, the trust announced it will recognize St. Clair for his contributions to the cultural heritage of Cape Breton.  At a ceremony later this year, St. Clair will be presented with the Award of Excellence in Supporting Heritage Conservation.   St. Clair, who lives in Mabou, writes a regular column for the Inverness Oran newspaper and has authored several books.
