Visitor Restrictions removed at Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital

Visitor restrictions have been lifted for a section of Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital.  The restrictions were imposed last week on 2 east and west, an active care unit, to help limit the spread of a flu-like illness in the 23-bed unit.
However, the Nova Scotia Health Authority advises visitors to exercise caution at hospitals, community health centres, and continuing care facilities.  That includes not visiting if they or other persons in their household are sick, and washing hands before and after seeing a patient or resident.
