Well-known Antigonish area writer and author Phil Milner says he has lived a deeper life spiritually in his adopted home than he could have experienced where he grew up in Indiana. Milner, a retired university professor will be the guest speaker at the Antigonish Men’s Prayer Breakfast Saturday morning on the topic “How Faith Informs My Life”. Milner says he was raised Presbyterian but drifted away from the church.
Milner says his spiritual journey took an abrupt turn when he married and converted to Catholicism.
Milner says his faith is very precious to him. The Men’s Prayer Breakfast will be held at St. Ninian Place at 8 a.m. Saturday. The breakfast is proudly supported by 989 Nothing But Hits.
