An Antigonish Town Councillor says we have your back– to senior citizens.  Laurie Boucher say it’s unfortunate that seniors are often targeted by culprits who rip people off for enormous amounts of money.  A new safety coordinator for senior citizens has been hired.  Boucher says helping people enjoying their golden years safely is one of the priorities.
Switching gears– Boucher wants to invite the community to a panel discussion next week for an energy outlook for the next 10 years.  It’s being spearheaded by a committee called “ACE“ which stands for `Antigonish Community Energy Project.`  It’s taking place Nov. 19th from 7-9pm in the Desmond Hall.
