It’s a day dust off your favourite sweater, and wear it at the office.
Thursday is National Sweater Day, where Canadians are urged to take action on climate change, by turning down down the heat a couple of degrees and put on their boldest sweater.
It’s an initiative led by World Wildlife Federation Canada. Communities across the country will make the day, including New Glasgow, where it’s urging residents to throw on a warm sweater for the day. It’s encouraging residents to submit photos to the for a chance to win two tickets to ECMA Songwriters Circle on February 11th. Photos can be submitted to email@example.com.
